THOMAS PRETORIUS

Thomas Pretorius’s passion for cinematography and storytelling started early in his life, as he grew up with both parents being in the film industry. Whilst completing his studies in 2005, he started his apprenticeship under Emmy Award Winning Timeframe Productions, who has trained and given him invaluable experiences and opportunities to this day.
 
In 2007, Thomas was given the opportunity to work on the Primetime Reality Series “American Survivor”. He took this opportunity with both hands and has to date completed 18 successful seasons. With his career rapidly expanding, he received his 4th Emmy Nomination for Outstanding Cinematography for Survivor USA S40 “Winners at War.” Thomas has worked in all spheres of the industry, including TVCs and documentary feature films.
  
Every day in this industry is a learning curve and Thomas finds it incredibly exciting. Thomas’s determined and enthusiastic personality drives him to excel as he strives to portray the intangible moments through cinematography.
