At 15 years old Fahema was swept away into the undertow of cinema’s powerful pull. Seeing the images of Accord, McCarvey and Beebe on the big screen, she decided to let go and devote herself to a life in film. Born and bred in Cape Town, Hendricks  promised herself early on that she’d travel wherever the job took her. As a result she has broadened her horizons, not just geographically but with her approach to every frame. Her particular ability to translate the unseen idea into a visual feast makes her the perfect accomplice in the quest to make real all things as yet, only imagined.
